Tips for passing the UBC real estate trading final exam
Tip 1
Most real exam questions do not come from UBC’s online practice questions. Once you log in to your UBC student account, under materials, there’s a button called Practice Questions. Click it and then you will find lots of practice questions associated with each chapter. And did you know that UBC’s website has an FAQ page? And one of the FAQs has the answer to this popular question.
Question: My course comes with access to Practice Questions. Do all of the examination questions come from these Practice Questions?
Answer: No. None of the Practice Questions will appear on your exam. However, some questions on your exam may look similar to the Practice Questions, which is why studying the Practice Questions is one of a number of valuable studying strategies.
Tip 2
Difficulty of the real exam questions will be mostly similar to the online practice questions. You will find that the online practice questions tend to be slightly easier than the assignment questions.
Tip 3
Focus too much on the knowledge points as opposed to the testing points. The key to quickly passing the UBC real estate exam is not trying to study all the knowledge points. Instead, the key to Quick Pass is to be able to solve at least 70% of the testing points on the exam date.

Top reasons students fail the UBC real estate exams.
Insufficient coverage of the testing points
Just focusing on memorizing terminology and practice questions is not enough to pass the exam.
Weak comprehension
If a student relies only on surface knowledge, and does not practice applying the concepts to scenario based questions, they may struggle.
Poor time management and exam taking strategy
One example is spending too much time on a few difficult questions and not leaving enough time to finish the easier ones.
Neglecting the mass
Your exam includes a mortgage math appraisal math, property tax adjustment, and some other math questions. Failing to master the math can be a major drag on your score.
Poor habits
For example. Procrastination. Cramming on exam. Skipping mock exams.
